Following the launch of our new line in January 2008, DTL earned some good buzz online. Coverage of the launch was featured in Tennis Served Fresh, a daily blog that covers fashion, technology, and other topics related to the world of professional tennis; TSF loved the scoop neck racerback, collard fit top and sarong skirt and included a lengthy Q&A with founder Carla Hilbig about her inspirations and aspirations. DTL Responds to Tennis Players Affected by October '07 Wildfires

The October wildfires in Southern California destroyed hundreds of homes in the community of Rancho Bernardo, where DTL founder Carla Hilbig grew up, so it was only natural of her to want to help do something.  When her mother started an effort to collect recipes to give to a friend and teammate who lost her home, Carla offered to sponsor the cost of producing a cookbook for not only her mom's friend, but any other tennis player who lost their home as well.

Close to 100 recipes were collected and assembled into a recipe collection, which have gone to seven women tennis players that we have learned of to date.  The recipe collections were given to a team captain to present to their teammate as a gift from their team.  In addition to the cookbook, the players received a complimentary DTL outfit -- in most cases picked out by the teammates and given as a gift from the team.

DTL has signed on as apparel sponsors for nationally-ranked juniors. Julia O'Loughlin, of Boca Raton, Florida, is a eigth grader who has already received the highest level of rating by tennisrecruiting.com, a web site that tracks the nation's top juniors.
